U.S. Zinc has extensive expertise in manufacturing zinc metal including prime western (PW) grade zinc metal and continuous galvanizing grade (CGG) zinc metal.

Prime western grade zinc metal is produced at the company’s Coldwater, Michigan and Houston, Texas plants. Both plants are full service providers to the hot-dip galvanizing industry. They purchase by-product from the hot-dip galvanizing industry, reprocess it and sell the PW grade zinc metal back into the same industry.

Continuous galvanizing grade (CGG) zinc metal is produced at the company’s Coldwater, Michigan plant. Our plant utilizes an environmentally proactive process to recycle top and bottom dross, by-products from the continuous galvanizing industry.
